Warrior Martial Arts Academy Franchising offers independent schools the opportunity to join the Warrior franchise system. This allows the current owner a way to benefit from lower operating costs and increased revenues. We have aggressive plans to grow our network by adding experienced martial arts businesses to the Warrior family and offer deeply discounted costs to do so. Independent businesses whose schools align with our strategic initiatives and share our values will be considered. In certain cases we are also prepared to buy existing martial arts schools which have demonstrated productivity. Call Warrior's franchise office to discuss the various scenarios we can offer you.

Although Warrior does not offer financing, either direct or indirect, we may be of assistance in securing an SBA-guaranteed loan, or other financing arrangements through a local lender. We offer you a business plan template that will help you prepare your request for financing and provide all statistical data which may be available under the terms of Federal Trade Commission regulations governing franchise offers.

The majority of our customers are parents of children who want their kids to develop positive character traits and the ability to defend themselves. Many martial arts schools focus on teaching "style" rather than "substance". While their students may be able to wave their arms in the air and make fierce sounds, they never learn to handle bullies on the schoolyard. Warrior is a serious martial arts school, using age-specific curricula, that teaches the skills kids need to survive in today's challenging world. Teaching real-world skills in a fun environment makes Warrior unique.

Ideally, our Academies are approximately 2,500 square feet. Our business model is scalable -- successful locations could vary in size from 1500 feet to larger facilities. We're always looking for ways to expand your penetration of your protected market, so occasionally building a second Warrior Academy makes more sense than enlarging your existing facility.

To provide the comprehensive curriculum demanded by our mission, we offer a blend of the skills taught in these martial arts: Brazilian jiu jitsu, boxing, tae kwon do, muay thai and judo. Our proficiency in teaching these skills is demonstrated time and again by our top awards earned by our students at competitive events throughout the south central U.S.

You should have a minimum of $50,000 in liquid assets and $250,000 net worth to launch your new Warrior Martial Arts Academy. Conversions of independent martial arts schools will be assessed primarily on existing school revenues.

The initial franchise fee is $30,000 (conversion of an independent martial arts school can be as low as $5,000). The royalties range from 6 to 7 percent of gross revenue and the National Advertising Fund contribution is 1 percent of gross revenue. In one of the more rare royalty structures in the franchise community, your Warrior Martial Arts Academy royalty % can actually go lower as your Academy count increases. Refer to our Franchise Disclosure Document for more information.

That is impossible to predict; there are too many variables. However, we can say that following the policies and processes included in our franchise System has enabled Warrior Martial Arts Academy to meet our financial objectives.

Our initial focus is on developing key markets in North Texas. Currently our focus is on communities in Collin, Denton, Dallas and Grayson Counties. Call us for specific information.

Our ongoing training program is dedicated to educating new franchisees on launching their Academies successfully and maintaining them efficiently. For new franchise owners who need assistance with hands-on management, we strongly encourage interviewing the experienced martial arts professionals to whom we can introduce you. Many would welcome the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an entrepreneurial venture in their field.

Not necessarily -- depending on the strength of the managers you employ, franchisees may not need to live in the same town. Since our mutual goal is to create multi-unit owners, we seek to find a geographic span of control that will be conducive to your operational success. One of the key benefits of the Warrior system is the ability to launch an Academy near the franchisee's own home. This lets the franchisee maintain their current career path, yet provide quick access to visit their investment during its peak business hours.

From the date you sign a franchise agreement, the average amount of time until opening is 3 to 4 months on a new location. The conversion of an independent martial arts school to the Warrior brand can happen in as few as 45 to 60 days from the signing of your franchise agreement.

A Warrior-branded franchise location with a recurring revenue stream can be a valuable asset. Possible buyers can include: Warrior Martial Arts Academy Franchising, LLC, and other successful WMAA franchise owners or entrepreneurs seeking to enter the Warrior Martial Arts Academy franchise system through acquisition. Your contractual right of first refusal with Warrior means you'll always be assured of getting the top price for your location.
